About FjordCruise Norway
We are a concierge for the Norwegian coast — one team booking cruises, charters, fishing and sailing on boats we know, from the Oslofjord to Arctic Lofoten.

Our story
FjordCruise Norway grew out of years of planning trips along this coast and running into the same wall every time. The Norwegian fjords are among the most spectacular waterways on earth, yet booking them online is fragmented and opaque. One website sells only its own sightseeing cruise. Another lists private yachts but never mentions the fjords. A third covers a single port. Travellers stitch together five tabs, compare prices in three currencies, and still cannot tell whether a shared cruise or a private charter suits them better.
We built the service we wished existed: a single concierge that spans every kind of boat and every stretch of the coast, quotes transparent from-prices, and gives honest advice about which option actually fits your group. We are independent — we are not a cruise line and we do not own ships — so our only incentive is to match you with the right experience, whether that is a €35 shared cruise or a multi-day private charter.
How the concierge works
Three simple steps take you from an idea to a confirmed boat, with a real trip designer at every stage.
- 1
Tell us your trip
Share your dates, party size, departure region and what you want out of the day — scenery, fishing, sailing or the northern lights. Our route calculator gives an instant indicative from-price so you know the ballpark before you commit.
- 2
We match the boat
We hand-pick from operators we know personally — a Bergen fishing skipper, a Tromsø aurora catamaran, a Lofoten sailboat — balancing season, capacity and budget. You receive a clear recommendation with an exact quote and open dates, usually within 24 hours.
- 3
You sail with confidence
We confirm inclusions, meeting points and cancellation terms in plain language, and stay reachable before and during your trip. If weather forces a change, we help you rebook rather than lose your holiday.
Our fleet-partner model
We do not own boats. Instead we maintain direct relationships with small Norwegian operators and skippers across 8 departure ports — the people who actually run the cruises, fishing charters and sailings. That keeps our fleet varied and local: a 200-guest sightseeing cruiser on the Oslofjord, a 12-guest private motorboat, a skippered sailboat for eight, a 30-guest heated catamaran built for Arctic waters.
Because we buy directly from operators rather than through resellers, our from-prices reflect what you would pay at the quayside, and we can flex the recommendation to your needs. Want a smaller boat for a special occasion, or a larger shared departure to keep costs down? We size the vessel to the group instead of pushing a single fixed product.
Sailing lighter
Norway leads the world in electrifying its fjord fleet. Several UNESCO-listed fjords, including Geirangerfjord and Nærøyfjord, are moving toward zero-emission tourist traffic by 2026, and battery-electric and hybrid sightseeing vessels are already running on the busiest routes. We prioritise these quieter, cleaner boats wherever they are available.
Beyond vessel choice, we favour smaller group sizes on sensitive fjords, promote sailing where wind allows, and are transparent about the footprint of each option. Protecting the water that makes these trips extraordinary is part of the job, not an afterthought.
